THE RICHLAND COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS ANNOUNCES CHANGES IN TWO VOTING LOCATIONS FOR THE NOVEMBER 2nd, 2021 GENERAL ELECTION AND ALL FUTURE ELECTIONS.

The first change was made in Shelby 4-A & 4-B precincts during the General Election of 2020, and has now been finalized as a permanent change:

Old Location:

Kehoe Center, 175 Mansfield Ave., Shelby 44875

New Location:

Awake Church, 3616 St. Rt. 39, Shelby 44875

The next change affects the voters in the Worthington Township A & B precincts:

Old Location:

Storyside Church/River of Life Church 111 W. Elm St., Butler 44822

New Location:

Three Crosses Church, 12 Cleveland St., Butler 44822

The reason for this change is Storyside Church could not commit to the November Election date or future Election dates.

Voters in these precincts have been notified by mail of their new polling location name and address. The Board does not expect to make any other revisions unless an emergency situation would arise.

We encourage voters to take advantage of Ohio’s ample early voting opportunities. The deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail for the November 2nd election is noon on Saturday October 30th. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by the day before the election in order to be counted, or you can drop it off at the Richland County Board of Elections at 1495 W. Longview Ave. Suite 101 in Mansfield, or place it in the locked and secure dropbox located in the rear, lower level parking area of the Longview Center. We would encourage voters who desire to vote by mail not to wait until the last minute. Early in-person voting starts on October 5th at 1495 W. Longview Ave. lower level, and that is also the date that we can start mailing out the absentee/mail ballots. And as usual, the polls will be open on Election Day, November 2nd, 2021 from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. For more information on these polling place changes, please contact the Richland County Board of Elections at 419.774.5530.
