The Richland County Commissioners on Thursday approved $24,000 dollars for a mobile camera system for the Richland County Sheriff’s Office.
RichlandSource.com reports, this will give the department an eye in the sky, as the unit extends 22 feet up into the air.
Sheriff Steve Sheldon says the live camera surveillance system is great for events and was just used at the Richland County Fair.
The deal a 1 year lease with a company called Liveview Technologies.
