The Mansfield Division of Police has completed an initial administrative review of the officer involved shooting which occurred on July 29th, 2021, at 300 Wood Street Apt. A8.
Effective August 27, 2021, Officer Mark Boogs and Off. Clay Blair will be reinstated to full duty. The primary investigation being conducted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (Ohio BCI) is still pending. Once Ohio BCI’s independent investigation is completed, it will be presented to the Richland County Prosecutors Office for review.
