In Lucas next week, there will be a community meeting to discuss the possibility to build a new school.
RichlandSource.com reports, the meeting is Tuesday, August 31stat 6:30 pm inside of the Lucas Community Center.
The cost to update their current buildings was significant and Superintendent Brad Herman wants to hear from the public. The district would likely get state funding for the project, which has been talked about for the last few years.
