Mansfield City Council has given the approval for the 1stphase to replace a storm sewer from West Third Street to Touby’s Run. The cost is $750,000 dollars, but according to RichlandSource.com, the 2ndphase of the project could see an additional cost of $ 1 million dollars.
Mayor Tim Theaker is looking to see if some money from the American Rescue Plan could be used to address the unexpected sewer issue.
