Ontario City Council Approves 15 Year Property Tax Exemption With CNG

The city of Ontario has approved a 15 year property tax exemption with Charter Next Generation.

RichlandSource.com reports, Council this week agreeing to a CRA (Community Reinvestment Area) with the organization and the land owner of the former General Motors property on West 4th Street.

The deal will invest around $58 million in building and equipping the new Charter facility.

Mayor Randy Hutchinson hopes the agreement will help urge development in Ontario.
