Ashland University graduate Katie Nageotte won the gold medal in the Pole Vault on Thursday at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
WMAN caught up with Ashland University Track and Field coach Jud Logan right after Katie won the medal, who said going into the event " Katie is one of the best in the world in the Pole Vault.
Logan, a 4-time Olympian, and is in his 26th year at AU as Track and Field coach. Nageotte is from the Cleveland area.
