An Ashland University graduate is headed to the finals in the pole vault at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Katie Nageotte was one of 15 on Monday to qualify for the finals, which will take place on Thursday around 6:30 pm eastern.
AU track and field coach Jud Logan, who is a 4 time Olympian himself, said the 30 year old Nageotte, is one of the best woman’s pole vaulters in the world.
