New Tax To Benefit Ashland County Children, Seniors, On November Ballot

A new tax will be in front of Ashland County voters this fall.

RichlandSource.com reports, a 5 year, 2 mill levy will be on the November 2ndballot, which would benefit children and seniors.

Ashland County Auditor Cindy Funk said it would create up $2.8 million, which would be split 50/50 between the Ashland County Department of Job and Family Services and the Ashland County Council on Aging. The cost to a $100,000 home owner, if passed, would be $70 per year.
