The Richland County Commissioners have approved two contracts for technology improvements.
RichlandSource.com reports, one is for businesses and residents to file permits with county departments online.The other is to be able to distribute routine and emergency information to residents via text, e-mail and voice messaging.
Both contracts will cost just over $10,000 per year following setup costs.
