The Ontario School District has found its next Superintendent.
The board of education this week approved a 5 year contract for Keith Strickler, who will take over the role in August of 2022.
Strickler, who will remain as the Ontario middle school principal this year and will take over for Lisa Carmichael, who is set to retire after the upcoming school year – following 11 years at Ontario.
Carmichael told RichlandSource.com, she’s leaving the district in good hands. Strickler called Ontario “a very special place.”
