Crestline Drug Bust Finds $15,000 - $20,000 In Meth, $6k Cash, Two Arrested

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office along with the METRICH Drug Task Force concluded a several month-long drug investigation. The Crawford County Special Response Team executed the search warrant at 7199 Klahn Rd. Crestline Ohio 44827. The search warrant was executed on July 7, 2021 just after 1900 Hrs.

Arrested was Gerald Cotsmire, age 56, who resides at this address along with Sherie Pfleiderer, age 57.

Officers seized a large amount of Meth, estimated to weigh 253.11 Grams, with a street value between $15,000.00 to $20,000.00. Drug paraphrenia, firearms and $6339 currency were also seized. Officers also recovered a Polaris side by side, which was stolen out of Kentucky.

Criminal charges are pending against Cotsmire and Pfleiderer, who are currently in the Crawford County Justice Center. Both suspects will be arraigned in court on Friday for Possession of methamphetamines, a Felony of the first degree along with other charges. Reports will be forwarded to the Crawford County Prosecutor’s Office for review for all charges.

Case is still currently being investigated by Detectives from the Sheriff’s Office.
