RichlandSource.com reports, the 125,000 square foot Niss Athletic Center hopes to be complete in October, which will include an 80 yard turf field and 300 meter, 6 lane track.
AU Athletic Director Al King said the University now has 24 sports and this will help in terms of where everyone can find space to practice.
Dan and Brenda Niss, Jack and Deb Miller, along with Jerry Ruyan – all are lead donors on the project.
