The Mansfield Fire Department is hoping to buy a drone.
RichlandSource.com reports Fire fighter Shawn Yerian has landed a $3,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Next, the Fire Department will ask Mansfield City Council for $3,500 to match the grant, in order to purchase that drone, which will help with firefighting and search and recovery efforts.
