A Mifflin township fire truck was involved in an accident on I-71 early Thursday morning.
The Ashland post of the highway patrol said the Mifflin Fire Department was responding to help in the cleanup of an crash on I-71 near the Ashland – Richland County line around 5 am.
A semi then hit the fire truck from behind. No serious injuries were reported in the accident.
