In Ashland County, the parks district is reminding the public that the park is not a dumping area.
This comes after two couches and other trash was found at an area park last week.
RichlandSource.com reports, state laws say illegal dumping has a fine of $500 and 60 days in jail.
The park district director said it’s more than just littering and some of the parks now have camera’s, which is also used for security.
