The Mansfield Fire Department responded to call of a structure fire on Rowland Ave Monday night. The report says the call came in just before 9 pm, which saw heavy damage to the first and second floors.
As fire fighters arrived to heavy flames, a neighbor said they heard a loud noise and a male running from the back door area. No one was home at the time of the blaze. One fire fighter was taken to the hospital after battling the fire in the extreme heat. The incident remains under investigation.
