A Go fund me account was recently launched after the bleachers were stolen at the Mansfield Southwest Little league fields at Sterkel Park.
The bleachers were taken around 5:30 am back on June 17th and in about a week’s time, the community came together to raise enough money to replace them.
An Anonymous Donor gave $3,000 and the Go Fund Me account raised just over $2,000 of the $5,000 needed. Any extra money donated will be used toward scholarships, as around 300 area kids, ages 3 to 16 take part in baseball and softball games during the summer.
