Press Release from the Mansfield Police Department
The Mansfield Division of Police responded to the 300 block of Bulkley Avenue in reference to a "Shots Fired" call at approximately 3:25PM on Sunday June 27th, 2021.
A witness at the scene was able to capture an unknown White female firing two rounds from a semi-automatic handgun during an altercation. The female suspect then fled in the gray colored vehicle which appears to be a Dodge Journey. We are asking for the community's assistance in identifying the female suspect who fired the two rounds. She appears to be wearing gray spandex-type shorts with a blue bathing suit like top. It is our hope that the female suspect will come forward and turn herself into police.
The incident took place near Johns Park and juveniles were in the area at that time, according to Mansfield Police.
