TROOPERS INVESTIGATING FATAL CRASH
(Ashland)- Troopers from the Ashland post are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 6:30 A.M. on US 250 in the Village of Bailey Lakes. A 2001 Dodge Dakota driven by Ronald J. Pryor, age 62, of Ashland was northbound on Main Street (US 250) in Bailey Lakes. Pryor was delivering newspapers and traveled off the left side of the roadway at a low speed. His vehicle came to rest against a building, the building did not sustain any significant damage. When first responders arrived Pryor was unresponsive and was transported to University Hospitals Ashland by Savannah Volunteer Fire Department where he was pronounced deceased. The Ashland County Sheriff’s Office, Ashland Fire Department, and Aber’s towing assisted at the scene. Drugs and alcohol are not suspected. The crash remains under investigation.
