Ashland County has a new health commissioner.
Vickie Taylor has officially been appointed to the position and will take over for Dr. David Tomchak, who had served in an interim role since November (2020).
RichlandSource.com reports, Taylor has been an Ashland County resident for the last 23 years.
The president of the Ashland Health Board called Taylor’s knowledge and education a “perfect fit.”
