In Ashland County, a petition has been filed to remove the mayor in the village of Mifflin.
According to RichlandSource.com, if approved the question would appear on the ballot to remove Vickie Shultz, who has been mayor since 2015.
Those signing the petition cited several reasons, which included the village sewage facility receiving 122 EPA violations from 2017 to 2019.
