70 workers went on strike this week in Ashland County at Custom Hoists in the village of Hayesville.
According to RichlandSource.com, the workers, who are represented by the United Steelworkers local, want higher wages, lower insurance costs and better working conditions.
Workers turned down an offer by a vote of 66 -2 and have been on strike since Monday night. The company, which makes hydraulic cylinders, says they are working to reach an agreement.
