MANSFIELD, Ohio--The Mansfield/Richland County Public Library invites the community to participate in the free Summer Library Program. This year’s “Tails and Tales” animal-themed program will take place between Monday, June 7 – Saturday, July 31, and offers opportunities for all ages to read, engage, and win prizes.

Ask for a kids, teen, or adult Summer Library Program participation guide at any location. The details for each program are included in the comprehensive guide. Then, throughout the summer, use the materials provided to keep track of the books you read, the programs you attend, the library resources you use, and the puzzles and games you play (including book Bingo).

Each time a customer participates in a program-related activity, they earn the chance to win a variety of age-appropriate weekly prizes and awesome grand prizes. This year’s Grand Prizes include a Nintendo Switch, a bounce house, a one-year Columbus Zoo membership, a $100 Lowe’s gift card, and many more!

Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, MRCPL is offering in-person activities and interactive, virtual options for this year’s program. In addition, all performances are taking place at outdoor, off-site locations to accommodate for capacity limitations.

For information on these programs and events at all library locations, visit the Library’s website atwww.mrcpl.org/slp2021.
