Richland County Receives First Half Of COVID-19 Money ($11.7 Million)

Half of Richland County’s COVID-19 relief money from the American Rescue Plan arrived this week.

According to RichlandSource.com, $11.7 million dollars officially went into the county’s account on Monday.

The commissioners said the guidelines to spend the money are being looked at to see how the county can use the funds. Commissioner Darrell Banks said, they are going to research for ways to benefits everyone in the county.
