A retired Mansfield Veteran has been honored with an award.
Jason Knasinski was honored Wednesday with the Patriot award, which is handed out to a military person or veteran who has helped out locally in their community.
RIchlandSource.com reports, Knasinski, who did two tours in Afghanistan, was selected from 17 candidates to achieve the honor. He founded Jason’s House of Hope, which is designed to help people leaving a shelter and getting into a place of their own.
