The Mansfield Division of Police is asking for assistance in identifying the person in the attached photo. The person is wearing a dark-colored hoodie (possibly black in color) with a light-colored (possibly white or light gray) front pocket. The person appears to be a male subject and is wearing shoes with a distinctive light colored pattern. This photo was taken from a camera in the Brookfield apartment complex on Brookfield Drive on Thursday morning June 3rd, 2021; around the time that a 74-year-old victim was stabbed by an unidentified male assailant(s).
It is unknown if this person is involved in that assault but may have seen or heard something and be able to provide additional information about the case. The Detectives would like to speak to this person.
