Shelby has hired a new varsity boys basketball coach in Greg Galloway.
This comes after the board of education did not renew the contract of Nathon Loney, who spent the last two years as whippets head coach.
Galloway, who is a teacher at Shelby, most recently was an assistant basketball coach at Ashland High School. Galloway also is an assistant football coach at Shelby and has helped lead the Whippets to back to back MOAC Titles.
