Little Buckeye Children's Museum In Downtown Mansfield To Reopen June 9th

Mansfield, OH (May 24, 2021) - Little Buckeye Children’s Museum is excited to announce they will be reopening their doors on Wednesday, June 9th.

Little Buckeye Children’s Museum has been closed since March 13, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors returning to the museum may notice some changes put in place to help provide a safe and fun experience for all visitors. “The health and safety of our guests and team members remains our top priority and we thank you for helping us with these efforts,” says Fred Boll, Little Buckeye Children’s Museum Executive Director. Some of these changes include:

· Cleaning protocols have been further enhanced

· Visitors and Team Members are asked to follow the most recent CDC guidelines

Little Buckeye Children’s Museum will also have new hours. To start, they will be open Wednesday–Saturday 10:00-4:00. Members of Little Buckeye Children’s Museum should check out the museum’s Membership Chart to see their automatically extended membership expiration date.

Since closing on March 13, 2020, Little Buckeye Children’s Museum has been continuing its mission by providing free virtual resources and free Buckeye Bags to families in Richland County with the help of the Richland County Foundation Summertime Kids Grant, The Shelby Foundation Emergency Relief Fund, Park National Bank, the Mansfield/Richland-County Public Library, Richland Carrousel Park, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Marvin Memorial Library and the Mansfield School Employees Association.
