Half Of Richland County $23 Million Dollar COVID-19 Relief To Arrive Soon

Half of Richland County's $23 million dollars in COVID-19 relief money should arrive in the next couple weeks, according to Commissioner Tony Vero.

RichlandSource.com reports, the other half of the money from the American Rescue Plan will come next year at this time.

Vero said the guidelines on how to spend the money are similar to the ones they received in 2020. Vero saying he is surprised the rules are more restrictive that he anticipated.
