The city of Galion has named a new police chief in Marc Rodriguez.
He was officially sworn in last Friday by mayor Tom O’Leary. Brian Saterfield recently retired after 17 years as Galion Police Chief.
Rodriguez has been with the Galion Police Department since 2000 and also has served as a member of the US Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in the Richland County Division for the last 10 years.
