Amtrak Hopes To Provide Service Across Ohio with Stops In Crestline

Friday, Amtrak announced it would like to start service to connect parts of Ohio from Cleveland to Columbus and Cincinnati, which could see a station built in Crestline.

RichlandSource.com reports, the plan needs approval from Congress in $80 billion in funding, which was proposed in President Biden’s National infrastructure plan.

Derrick James with Amtrak said Crestline is uniquely positioned in Crawford County near Mansfield and Galion. Amtrak stopped in Crestline for many years, but closed in 1990.
