Tuesday, a Mansfield engineering firm was awarded the $1 million contract for design work on the Main Street Corridor Plan.
RichlandSource.com reports, K.E. McCartney and Associates were approved by the Mansfield Board of Control.84% of the design cost will be funded by a grant. Mansfield Engineer Bob Bianchi said overall the project would cost the city around $1.8 million, which needs city council’s approval. The other 75% of the construction costs would be paid for by grants.
