Lexington Names Young To Assistant Superintendent

Lexington High School Principal Kevin Young is being promoted to the district’s Assistant Superintendent, according to RichlandSource.com.

The position was left unfilled this past year due to COVID-19 and state funding cuts, but after relief money from the federal government – Young will step into that role next school year.

Young is a 1987 Lexington High School and went to College at the University of South Carolina – before getting his Master’s Degree from Ashland University.
