Madison School District To Add 8 Positions, But Eliminate 14 Due To Deficit

The Madison School District says it will be eliminating 14 teaching positions for the 2021-2022 school year.

RichlandSource.com reports, the district will be adding 8 positions, but it’s not yet known what positions will be added or eliminated.

Superintendent Rob Peterson said positions were eliminated and added in every building. The Madison school district has a projected spending deficit of $1.25 million in 20201 and $1.9 million in 2022.
