Voters in Washington Township will see a bond issue on the May 4th ballot, which if approved, would see a new fire station built near State Route 13 and Vanderbilt road.
RichlandSource.com reports, the 2.4 mill bond issue is for 30 years and would cost a $100,000 home owner roughly $84 dollars a year.
The current fire station, which is 62 years old and is located near State Route 13 and I-71 on Possum Run Road, does not meet EPA Standards.
