COVID-19: Increase In Cases, One-Third Of Ohioans Have Received Vaccine

One third of Ohioans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. The state, however, saw 53% of its counties report an increase in COVID-19 cases this week.

Richland County was up 20% rise in the last week, after several weeks of decline. Franklin County to the south is on the watch list to possibly turn purple. A big concern now is the quickly spreading COVID-19 variants

The CDC is urging adults to get vaccinated. The variants, which all have been detected in Ohio – 4 cases of the California variant have been detected in Richland County.
