A Shelby attorney has been selected to fill the opening on the Richland County Board of Elections.
Jonathon Elgin was chosen last Thursday in a unanimous selection. Elgin, a 2006 Shelby graduate and got his law degree from Ohio Northern University.
RichlandSource.com reports, Elgin takes the place of Joe Mudra, who recently passed away after a battle with cancer. Mudra was the long time leader of the Richland County Democrat Party.
