The Madison School Board of Education recently gave its approval to hire an art teacher at the elementary level, which is something that is long overdue, according to Superintendent Rob Peterson.
Peterson said the move will be beneficial to students.
The board also honored the Madison Lady Rams State Champion Soccer team. Athletic Director Doug Rickert praised the team and coaches and highlighted the team has an average GPA of 3.6.
