Providers Not Filling COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Can Open To 16 & Older

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine on Monday said that if any providers are not filling all of their COVID-19 vaccine appointments this week for age 40 and older, then it’s ok to open it up to anyone age 16 and older.

DeWine said the plan is still in place for Ohioans age 16 and older to receive their vaccine starting next Monday, March 29th.This is just an exception, so that no vaccine goes unused.

Monday, Ohio passed more than 1 million cases of COVID-19 in the last year, as over 1,400 cases were reported statewide yesterday.
