Mansfield Approves Clear Fork Dam Project To Prevent Problems Down The Road

Mansfield City Council this week approved a $1.2 million project for the Clear Fork Reservoir Dam, which supplies a majority of the water for the city of Mansfield.

According to RichlandSource.com, the dam built in 1949 is sound, but portions of water have been seeping through since the 1970’s. City Engineer Bob Bianchi said there is no problem right now, but they want to get the work done to avoid a potential problem down the road.
