A project is in the works that could see 200 Apartments built on the site of the former Hess and Clark building on East 7th Street in Ashland, once its torn down.
RichlandSource.com reports Ashland mayor Matt Miller made the announcement this week during the city council meeting. Miller saying the proposed building would be four stories and could see a restaurant, work space and pool built on the roof.
Two area residents asked if the building could be preserved instead on the National Register of Historic Places.
