2021-2022 Leadership Unlimited Applications Open
The Chamber Foundation’s annual Leadership Unlimited (LU) program is now accepting applications for the 39 th class beginning in September and ending in June. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 16. Applications are available online here: https://leadershipunlimited.org/application/.
Leadership Unlimited takes its participants on a journey through the Richland area to build upon leadership skills and strengthen the community as a whole. With 1,051 LU graduates, this program provides a broader understanding of how various community systems can and should work.
Beginning with a weekend orientation retreat, LU will kick off its nine monthly workday sessions that relate to unique topics facing the community. Tuition includes activity fees, course materials and meals. Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis.
The goals for Leadership Unlimited include the following:
- Identify existing and emerging community leaders
- Acquaint participants with community needs, problems and opportunities
- Provide the chance for participants to broaden their understanding of the processes by which decisions are made in the Richland community
- Challenge participants to offer alternative processes for community decision-making
