Shelby Mayor Steve Schag says 1,500 residents have received the COVID-19 vaccine from the Shelby Health Department. Schag also pointing out that everything ran smoothly with the first round of the vaccine rollout to Shelby City Schools, Pioneer and Shelby St. Mary’s last week and they plan to administer the 2nd dose in two weeks on March 12th.
Shelby Schools Superintendent Tim Tarvin said 70% of his staff signed up for the Vaccine.
