The Mansfield Fire Department responded to a call on Wednesday morning at Edge Plastics on Newman Street.
Officials say the call came at 9:31 am at the business on Newman Street. The cause of the fire was accidental, as employees told the fire fighters they had been using cutting torches to salvage a large piece of manufacturing equipment.
All of the employees were evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Fire Department turned off the power to the building and extinguished the fire. The only damage, for the most part, was to some of the siding of the building.
