Friday, around 1,300 school personnel, from 24 Richland County School districts, will receive their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center in Mansfield.
Mid-Ohio Superintendent Kevin Kimmel says they will administer the vaccine between 7 am – 5 pm and plan to do it again, in 3 weeks, for the 2nd dose on March 12th.
Kimmel said a group of 50 volunteers, along with their partner Discount Drug Mart and area schools did a great job of putting together the plan.
