Ashland City Council To Help Public Transit System Apply For Grants

Ashland City Council this week passed a resolution to help the Ashland Public Transit System apply for state and federal grants.

According to RichlandSource.com, Ashland will commit $176,000 and will be getting $784,000 in grants.

Ashland Public Transit, which has 9 vehicles, averages around 30,000 rides per year and is looking for revenue in 2021 of close to $500,000. They have 14 staff members and 12 that work full time.
