COVID-19: Richland Academy Extends Closure Through February 21

February 12, 2021 - Mansfield, OH - The Richland Academy of the Arts Board of Directors and Executive Committee have decided under the guidance of the Richland County Health Department to extend the closure of RAA through Sunday, February 21 because of COVID-19.

Richland Academy will be extending the Spring Semester into June to ensure that all classes and lessons will be made up. All classes and lessons are tentatively scheduled to resume Monday, February 22. Some private music instructors may opt to resume lessons in an online format until RAA can safely re-open.

Because of the Ohio Arts Council Cares Funds and the generosity of MG Energy, Richland Academy has been fortunate to have installed needlepoint bipolar ionization units throughout the facility to upgrade indoor air quality and to fight the spread of COVID-19.In addition, the Academy has invested in a new disinfectant sprayer where surfaces throughout the building are disinfected with the same disinfectant solution used in hospitals. The Academy will continue their deep cleaning procedures through the closure. Anyone with questions or comments can reach out by email tofrontdesk@richlandacademy.com
