Close to 70% of the Ontario School Staff has signed up to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. RichlandSource.com reports the district will do so on school grounds next Thursday, February 18th.
The Clear Fork Valley Schools will also see staff receive the vaccine on Feb 18th at the Knox Educational Service Center.
Most Richland County School District Staff will get the vaccine next Friday, Feb. 19th at the Mid Ohio Educational Service Center. Many districts are having either a remote learning day or have canceled classes to allow this to take place.
The Shelby Health Department will vaccinate personnel for Pioneer and the Shelby City schools’, where close to 68% of staff have signed up to receive the vaccine, according to Superintendent Tim Tarvin.
