Close to 60% of Madison Staff To Receive COVID-19 Vaccine

The Madison Local Schools are reporting that 57% of their staff would like to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the district’s board meeting this week.

Superintendent Rob Peterson said, all of the details are not yet worked out, as to when or where his staff will get the vaccination.

RichlandSource.com reports, Madison is teaming up with the Mid-Ohio Education Service Center for distribution and could also partner locally with Drug Mart.

Many school districts around the state on Monday will start to vaccinate school personnel with the hoping of having all students back in the classroom by March 1st.

Starting Monday, those 70 and older can beginning getting the vaccine in Ohio
